SSC invites applications for Graduate Level Exams

Staff Selection Commission has invited application for Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2014 for recruitment to different posts. Interested candidates are required to apply on or before February 14.

Eligibility criteria:

Education:
For Compiler: Candidate should be a graduate form any recognized University with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective subject.

Statistical Investigator Grade - II: Candidate should be a graduate with Statistics as one of the main subjects or have a Bachelor's Degree with Mathematics (with Statistics as a papers studied in one year/two years/all three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects. Candidates with Bachelor's Degree with Economics (with Statistics as a paper studied in one year/two years/all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects are also eligible. Any candidate with a Bachelor Degree with Commerce (with Statistics as a paper studied in one year/two years/all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects.

How to apply?
The candidate can apply through online and offline mode of application and registration before February 14, 2014. The application fee is Rs 100. Female candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying application fee, as per extant government orders.

Exam structure:
Tier -I -- Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
Tier -II -- Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
Tier -III -- Personality Test cum Interview/Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test (wherever applicable)/ Document Verification & Descriptive/on-line test of qualifying nature.
